First of all, I want to say thank you thank you for being here, and welcome to my brand new website. I created this special place with you in mind and I hope through all of this, I can find a way to serve you.
For those of you who don't know me personally or understand what I do, let me quickly say a few things. My name is Bri Harding. I'm a third year student at Morningside College, anticipating graduation in May of 2016 with a B.S. in Advertising and a B.A. in Graphic Design. I'm also a daughter, sister, granddaughter, best friend, girlfriend, companion, team member, volunteer, Olive Garden waitress, DWC dance instructor, amateur photo taker, desperate coffee drinker, awful singer, and an amazing listener. I promise you if I don't already know you, I want to get to know every part of your life you will share with me. And if I do know you, I promise I think about you and care about you more than you know. I serve an incredible God, and I want to honor Him and please Him in every hour of each day He allows me to breathe. Like many other sinners, I'm often caught up in my own plan and my own selfish desires, and I cause myself to lose my way. When I struggle, I struggle because I am not near God.
I believe this new place is a place to grow in myself, in my faith, to serve God, and to serve others. I have found that most joy in my life comes from seeing the happiness and success in other's lives, and I believe I can encourage that through my creativity. As a graphic designer, I'm very passionate about promoting cool things, new things, even people, and observing the many ways people digest new information. Social media, emails, texts, websites, mailers, newspapers, billboards, magazines, street signs, flyers, pamphlets, brochures, building signs, even product labels. Spoken words are worth so much but sometimes it's the way you act or show someone how you feel that is what is actually believed. I find beauty in things that aren't always said, but shown and proven. Design is the things we believe, because they are seen. And we owe it to ourselves to see more authentic, beautiful things, don't we?
Take care friends, and please stick around.
